Lockwoods Chimney

I have been joined for two days of private guiding by Dave & Stacey who were keen to try rock climbing for the first time, and looking for a bit of adventure. The run of sunny weather came to an end, it is Bank Holiday Monday after all, so we headed to Lockwoods Chimney. After some practise abseils on the trees we wriggled and squirmed our way up this 4 pitch chimney route that is best described as "traditional"! At the top we abseiled off which gives a spectacular 50m abseil with part of it free hanging and provided the adventure they were looking for!

Wicked day today with Rob climbing and abseiling despite the weather. We can't wait for tomorrow :)
